Dinamika Bahari memuat hasil penelitian, ide, dan gagasan dosen, pengajar, taruna, peneliti serta akademisi di bidang transportasi laut. Dinamika Bahari terbuka bagi masyarakat umum yang ingin mempelajari hasil-hasil penelitian para dosen atau penulis lainnya. Masyarakat juga bisa bergabung menjadi penulis (sebagai akademisi), atau menjadi reviewers sesuai dengan bidang keilmuan masing-masing yang dibutuhkan oleh jurnal ini.

ABSTRACT Refueling activities (bunkers) is a filling activity fuel is done routinely before the ship is ready to sail, but in tandem Over time the bunker activity also brought new problems such as the oil incident spill that occurs at the Koarmada pier. Potential problems that occur causing the oil spill to be very high. The objectives of this study are 1). For find out about bunker surveillance activities at the Koarmada pier, 2). Knowing the factors that cause oil spills and 3). The efforts made by PT. Pertamina Trans Continental Surabaya branch to reduce the occurrence of oil spills. The research method used is 1). Descriptive qualitative by describing in detail the implementation of bunker supervision at the Koarmada pier. Collection Data is done by interview, observation, literature study and documentation in the form of photographs of the implementation of bunker supervision. From the results of the study it can be seen that 1). Supervision activities at the Koarmada pier are still not optimal. 2). Factors which are causing oil spills include education factors, knowledge factors, and factors equipment that is not feasible. Based on the research results, PT. Pertamina Trans Continental does 3). Efforts to reduce the occurrence of oil spills with more pay attention to the educational background in recruiting bunker workers, giving training and outreach to the supervisory team, giving strict sanctions to bunker workers if the bunker is implemented not according to procedures, update bunker equipment that is not feasible to use, do a thorough supervision, and do good communication and coordination and cooperation in supervision bunker activity

ABSTRACT Husky-CNOOC Company Madura Limited (HCML) is a representative of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to carry out oil and gas exploration and exploitation activities including condensate in the Madura Strait Block. Condensate will be distributed to domestic and foreign buyers. The factor influencing the smooth export in HCML is the completeness of the Goods Export Notification (PEB) documents in the form of a surveyor (LS) report. If LST does not issue, the company's quota will not be fulfilled as planned. This study aims to determine the flow, constraints, and efforts made in issuing survey reports on MT condensate exports. New Advance in the Husky Area Madura Strait Marine Terminal. The writer uses a qualitative descriptive method by explaining the data in detail based on the facts. For data collection methods, the authors make observations, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. To publish surveyor reports there are several stages that must be carried out along with the completeness of supporting documents such as Export Approval Letter (SPE). In the conduct of MT condensate exports. New Advance found obstacles in the issuance of surveyors because SPE had expired and bad weather at Madura Strait Marine Terminal. Efforts were made to overcome this by meeting with relevant parties such as INSW (Indonesian National Single Window), Ministry of Trade, SKK Migas, and Central Customs and Excise , check SPE documents regularly and establish good communication between parties

ABSTRACT Cooling machine is one of the auxiliary machineries that works to produce temperatures or cold temperatures to cool the room above the ship and provide a sense of comfort on the crew of the ship. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with the approach of the Fishbone Analysis method, finding the main causes of less optimal Air Conditioner work, finding the impact less optimal work of Air Conditioners as well as combining it with the Fault Tree Analysis method to find the effort of the most basic problems (Basic Event). The results of this study found the main factors that lead to less optimal work of Air Conditioner namely the occurrence of sedimentation on condensor pipes so that it disrupts the condensation process. This is caused by the dirty LTCooler. The impact that occurred was the crew felt uncomfortable when being in one room, resulting in considerable losses both internal and external impacts. Then the efforts made are maintenance of machinery in accordance with the System Maintenance Plan and water testing on LT Cooler

ABSTRACTThe aircraft streeing gear is one of the auxiliary machineries that functions forchange and determine the direction of motion of the ship, both straight and turn the ship, to the left (portside) and to the right (starboard side), by moving the rudder (steering wheel). MethodThe research used in this study is a quantitative method. Data analysis techniqueusing the Urgency, Seriousness, and Growth (USG) method by determining priority levelsIssues use a scale of numbers in order to get an effective and effective issue resolution withmaintain the performance of Steering Gear in SV. SWISSCO SAMSON then do maintenanceand repairs as desired. Based on the results of research that has been done by researchers,steering gear does not work optimally, caused by not operating the system value properly,there are several bolts or connections (connectors) to the pipe that loosens, the quality and type of oilimproper hydraulic applications, damage to seals and o-rings. Decreased pump performancehydraulics, caused by leakage of pipe joints, damage to valves, loss of qualityhydraulic oil, dirty or clogged filters and leaks in hydraulic cylinders. To overcomethese factors can be done by regularly checking the electric-hydraulicsteering gear, checking the pump, checking the pipe leading to the pumphydraulics, hydraulic pump valves, hydraulic oil quality checking

ABSTRACTThe shipping business feels the importance of the risk of financial responsibility arisingfrom the operation of ships, the obligation of ship owners/operators must be responsible forthe safety of passengers and the cargo they carry in the event of an accident causing injuryor causing loss to passengers, as well as loss/damage to transported cargo and losses tothird parties, namely by transferring risk to other parties where the other party as therecipient of the risk and being able to manage the risk are insurance companies. In this casethe ship owner and operator can guarantee the risks of responsibility that arise with P & IClub insurance. In this case the researcher uses a qualitative descriptive writing method todescribe and describe the object under research. In addition, this research also usesobservation, interviews and literature.From an analysis of the matter he added group of researchers from came to theconclusion that the process of and settlement of the insurance claim had been completed andwas although there have been a obstacles faced. Constraints faced in the process andsettlement of claims are complete claims documents, selection of contracting companies, andsocio-economic conditions and weather. Therefore, the purchasing process must be use information technology so that the service process is carried out systematically. However The computerized system has not been fully implemented in the Procurement Department so Stop the activities in the Procurement department. This research The Department of Performance Procurement uses and does not use a computerized system. Method the research used is descriptive qualitative. The data source used is library research, interview and documentation. Results of this research the use of computerized systems according to computer specifications that have not been updated, system interruption computers, database system management, computer component damage, and lack of human resources

ABSTRACT The process of container loading is one of the important things that need to be considered in the implementation of loading and unloading. Good or bad loading of cargo is one of the factors that greatly affect the safety of the cargo, even the stability of the ship when carrying out the voyage. This research aims to further increase knowledge about how to use lashings equipment in accordance with their respective functions as well as better container handling methods. according to the correct procedure. This research was carried out on board the MV. Oriental Ruby, which is one of the fleet owned by PT. SPIL. The twelve-month-one-day research was conducted at the time the authors conducted the Sea Practice (Prala), so that the source of the data was obtained directly from the research site with information-based observations. The results of this study showed that there were still many deficiencies that occurred in the process of carrying out cargo handling, both in terms of knowledge and equipment. The author believes by providing an overview of the method of container sealing, the crew will have knowledge of the technique of cargo loading by increasing the optimization of cargo handling so that there is no shift in load which can have a negative effect on the stability of the ship, or the cargo itself

ABSTRACTShip cargo is an object of transportation in the sea transportation system, by transporting the cargo ofa commercial shipping company that can obtain revenue in the form of mining money which is verydecisive in the survival of the company and financing port activities. The several events on board thatoccurred such as load damage caused by the lack of skills of the crew in handling cargo.The methodused in this study is a qualitative method that produces descriptive data in the form of written wordsfrom people and observed behavior. The subject process and meaning are more highlighted inqualitative research. The data collection techniques used such as observation and documentation.Ship cargo (cargo) is an object of transportation in the sea transportation system, by transporting thecargo of a commercial shipping company. Therefore, handling cargo on board is very important toget profit for the company. To support cargo security, human resources are experts in their fields,namely those who have skills in handling cargo. Without handling the load by the cargo crew can bedamaged, and can cause losses to the company. From the above problems we can discuss how toimprove the skills of the ship's crew in handling cargo
